Gracie & Alex

Sunday after church I had the pleasure of meeting Gracie & her brother Alex. We had the shoot in Aberdeen which I loved. It was a beautiful sunny day & we had the town to ourselves. I loved that mom brought a bag of props. (Props are always fun.) Alex didn't really want to show his braces off but I got him to smile once or twice:) I loved the way they would chat back and forth while I was shooting. I wonder what they were talking about... Probably how silly they thought I was:)

Alex has an awesome walking stick that was hand carved. I just had to get a good shot of it.
I love the look on Gracie's face... I wonder where she was right then.

They were so much fun...
The entire family are BIG Carolina fans... you gotta love the hats....
I thought this was going to kill Alex... I told him he would live through it:)
It was great to meet you & your mom. You guys were so much fun. I hope I didn't make it to tough on you guys. I know the kiss was hard for Alex :) Have a great weekend off school:)

Zach & Kaylee

It was a chilly morning but Zach & Kaylee were troopers. They didn't even bring their coats and I was freezing:) Zach was up for anything but loved going to the park at the end of the shoot. I even got Kaylee to climb up a tree for me. (Thanks Kaylee:)

It is so great spending time with families and getting to know them. It is one of the things I love most about photography. By the end of the shoot Zach was holding my hand as we walked back to the cars. It melted my heart.

I love this....
You know I love big earrings:)
I even got mom & dad in a few too....

Thank you for hanging in there with the cool weather. It was so great to meet you all.

Kelli + Rodney

Weddings... how fun. I was so excited to be able to shoot Kelli & Rodney's wedding with Tina and Jodi. The wedding day was the first time meeting Kelli & Rodney but it was as if I had known Kelli for a long time. She is so sweet... I know why so many people love her and Rodney and were there to support them. It looked like it was going to be rained out and moved inside but it was cleared up and beautiful by wedding time. The dress, the flowers, the location was all so beautiful. It was fun photographing it all.

I was able to spend some extra time with Kelli + the girls as they got ready.
Doesn't she look beautiful...
How precious....
Their wedding party was so much fun...
I love the blue sky... after the rain had passed:)
I am the detail girl:)
The wedding & reception...

Rodney relaxing after a wonderful day...
Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your BIG day. It was so much fun and everything was sooooo beautiful. May God bless you guys.

Emi & Barrett

What a beautiful day for a golf shoot. I had the pleasure of hanging out with Emi & Barrett along with their parents Dale & Kerry. I was so excited when Kerry called and asked to do a golf shoot. Dale is a golf pro and they are a golf family.... Everyone was happy to do all the fun shots I asked of them. I even got to ride in a golf cart which is always fun.

Thank you so much for the fun afternoon. I enjoyed hanging out with your family. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Paige & Connor

I had a great time spending a couple hours of my day with my friends, the Dula's.  Anyone who knows the Dula's love the Dula's.  I met Cassy about a year ago at Grace Church.  We hit it off right away because we are both from Michigan.  We had that instant bond, that became a great friendship.  From that friendship our children became good buddies too.  Paige and Connor are great kids with their own fun personalities. You just have to love them.

Pictures were fun, just ask Dan:)  Cassy took care of my kids while I took photos of hers.  It was someplace new for the kids so a lot of exploring took place.  They wanted to see everything, in between pictures being taken.

Paige who is 10 looks so much older in some of these photos. Don't grow up to fast OK Paige.  You can't help but smile with Connor around.  One grin from him and your smiling yourself.    Like I said, to know the Dula's is to love the Dula's.

Thanks for letting me take the families shots.  You guys are awesome.  I am blessed, along with my family, to have you guys in our lives.  So glad our paths crossed.  Love you guys.
