Ryan, Jordon & Ian

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Meghan & Ross and their children Ryan, Jordon and Ian. The rain held off for us for a little while but we had to cut the shoot a little short.  Here is one of my favorite shots before the rain.

Sara

One of the shoots before my vacation was with Sara.  She wanted her senior photographs taken.  I am glad that I was able to do it for her.  She has beautiful eyes that just shine.  There were times when I would ask her not to smile and it was really hard for her... so you know she would be a great person to be around.  We always tell people to bring accessories or things that mean something to them, when she pulled out the flower earrings I about died... they are the greatest earrings.  

Thank you Sara for a great morning. It was great meeting you & your mom Kathy.  Hope you like them.

Update...

OK... it has been a while it seems since I have blogged with some new photos.  Let me tell you... My old computer couldn't handle the pics, we went on vacation and then I bought a MAC.  So it has taken me sometime to switch things over and get the editing done.  I just wanted to update everyone.  Things are getting back on track and boy is this MAC so much faster.... yeah!!!  Keep checking for new photos :)

Jessica

I am sure by now you have seen the awesome photos of Jessica on Tina's blog. I was able to come along and help out when needed (the person in the guys pants and shoes ) and take some photos too. I tried to put up some of the shots that were a little different than Tina's so you would get a peak at some different pics. Jessica is so fun to shoot. It was a fun morning... and yes.. Jessica does get into the lake for the final shots. I couldn't believe she was doing it the entire time it was happening. It was a once in a life time opportunity.  By the way, Jessica called me and said she had the dress dry cleaned and it cleaned up just like new:) The dress made it through the lake:)

I also got a shot of Tina taking Jessica's picture.  I thought she needed to be in here too since she added the full shot of me with Jessica as the guy:)

It was such a fun morning. Thanks again Jessica for a great shoot. I have to thank Eli (my son) for being a trooper too... it was a long morning:)

Up North Michigan

My family and I were able to go home to Michigan for a much needed vacation. One thing I miss the most about Michigan is fall and its AWESOME colors. I really don't know how to describe it but... AMAZING. Usually the fam makes the rounds and we don't really have time to enjoy the state but we made it a point to go to Northern Michigan for the weekend. My sister & brother in law went with us to Suttons Bay for an adult getaway. Beautiful colors, amazing lakes, local wineries and a great Bed & Breakfast. We stayed at the Korner Kottage in Suttons Bay. Jim & Linda Munro are the owners. They are wonderful people that everyone should met. And Jim can put on quite a spread for breakfast. You will find the photos to be more of things then of people. I am sure the southerners will get a kick out of the POP sign. If you're ever in Northern Michigan you must visit Suttons Bay and Jim & Linda at the Korner Kottage.  Check out the websites listed below.

Jim & Linda thanks for a wonderful weekend. We can not wait to come back. Kimmie & David it was so fun spending time with you as always... even when it got alittle crazy at the end.
